Andrew Grenfell
Biarri Commercial Mathematics
Andrew Grenfell is the Biarri Chief Technology Officer. He is an optimisation expert and web developer, and oversees Biarri’s technical direction.
Since 1997 Andrew has been developing desktop optimisation models and software, undertaking consulting projects, and managing R&D projects.
As the CTO at Biarri, he delivers mathematical solvers and analytical tools to clients via web browsers and Excel models, in various domains such as air cargo commitment management, rail asset usage and maintenance scheduling, network flow and supply chain modelling, vehicle routing and crew scheduling.
He has a PhD (Mathematics) in Operations Research from the University of Queensland, where his thesis entitled “Optimisation of Overnight Delivery Networks”.
